Upcoming Events

Back-to-Shul Day: Join us Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a fun, end-of-the-summer day with friends and family. Rabbi Hersh, Cantor Shulie and the Board of Trustees will be on hand to talk to current and prospective congregants about all Beth Sholom has to offer and the many ways to get involved in the community. There will be a moon bounce and other games to entertain the kids

Meet the Kandels
Michelle and Frederick native Sid Kandel are staples at Beth Sholom. The Kandels are the first to greet visitors and welcome new members to Shabbat services and to our congregation. Their two grown children attended our religious school and became Bar and Bat Mitzvah here. Michelle and Sid have been active in all aspects of Beth Sholom and they invite everyone to explore the enriching opportunities here.
